Simple Grilled Chicken Wings and Drums

--Marinade in Newman's Own "Olive Oil and Vinegar" for 5 - 6 hours (in the refrigerator)
--Start your charcoal and let it grey over a little, before adding chicken to grill
--Cook chicken slowly (around the edges of the grate) to reduce flare ups
--When it's done, brush with your favorite bbq sauce to finish
--Enjoy

The marinade will add moisture and internal flavor, while the bbq sauce adds a little kick.  No matter how you grill your chicken, I would not eat chicken that is not marinated in Newman's Own "Olive Oil and Vinegar". It really makes a difference.

Haven't noticed that one in the stores. Where you buy yours, do they sell it by the oil or in the salad dressing section?

Hi Chris,

It's in the salad dressing section. In case you're wondering Newman's Own is affiliated with Paul Newman. A portion of the proceeds from the products are donated to charitable causes.

Linda gets Newman's Own products at Winn Dixie and Publix. They are fairly popular. She made the comment to me last night that she won't eat chicken that hasn't been marinaded in it. That's a pretty powerful testimonial.

There was a time a few years ago when I was winning the chicken category in FBA events and everyone of those entries was marinated in this product. It helps the chicken retain moisture.

We cooked some chicken breasts last night and they were very tender and moist. Without a marinade it would have been an entirely different story.
