Popular Mechanics.com has a three page article on it's web site that outlines step-by-step how-to plans for building an offset bbq smoker. Complete with pictures and detailed descriptions, this is one of the best sources I've found on the web for how-to build an offset drum smoker out of 10 ga steel. There's lots of pictures, ideas for handles and instructions for building a chimney.
