I ran across an article today announcing the Zoo B Que barbecue cook-off sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbecue Society being held at a most unusual location in Racine, WI--the Racine Zoo. Contestants in the professional categories will be competing for $13,000 in prize money.
Scheduled for July 29, the entry fee is $200 which includes entry into all of the traditional KCBS meat categories: chicken, pork ribs, pork shoulder or butt, and brisket.
