BBQ Fundraiser

The Madison Ribberfest in Madison, IN, home of the Indiana State Championship Barbecue Contest, implemented a unique and very effective fund raising concept--selling pig statue sponsorships to local businesses. In return the pigs are decorated by the businesses and displayed at the event. The public "votes" for their favorite by making a monetary donation to their favorite pig. The money raised is used to fund a scholarship for local students. What a great idea!
