BBQ Ribs for the Superbowl

I cooked two racks of babybacks and a rack of spare ribs for the Superbowl.  The Hen and Hog rub from Spicewine Ironworks was very good.  If you live in Missouri, you can get that rub from Hy Vee grocery stores. You can also order some from their website.

WSMs are popular. I'm not too partial to water smoking, and they do look tasty Chris. We just posted a video check it out

Nick,

I cooked these ribs on my Backwoods "Party" Smoker. I used sand in the water pan. I've added some annotations to the video to help explain how I made the ribs.

Nice! The annotations were most helpful. For some reason I still can't get to wrapping meat in foil, I know the technique works but in my small mind its like grilling with gas, or drinking pepsi. Just can't do it if you know what I mean.

I love ribs, and have found that my weber grill works great to smoke them to perfection. Smoked Chicken is also great on the charcoal grill.

I agree and unless I'm smoking a ton of meat or making beef jerky I like to smoke on my weber. Smoked trout is awesome as is chicken. We have pics of Jalapeno charlie the chicken posted on the site. check it out

Another great meat for smoking is salmon. Still, no one can beat a great set of bbq ribs for sure!

Hi, Any chance we can get this recipe? These looked good. However, I'm a newbie and need quantities, temperatures and lengths of time.

thanks,
